Depending on the agreement with your organisation, you will have either a set number of sessions (e.g 12 sessions per year) or 1 session per week.

For therapy, traditionally, sessions are weekly so you can maintain momentum and build upon what you have have discussed previously. This may differ depending on your goals and availability. For coaching, sessions can typically be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Whatever is decided, it could be helpful to have some regularity, e.g if you meet weekly, try and stick to the same time and day each week.
If you agree for sessions to be fortnightly or monthly, again, it can be helpful to have the future session times set in your diary so you and you practitioner can best prepare.
