Unmind Talk offers you access to a global network of experienced therapists and coaches who offer a wide range of therapeutic and coaching approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, counselling and executive coaching.
If your employer has given you access to Unmind Talk, you can browse the profiles of available therapists and coaches, and apply filters to refine their search (e.g. to find those who are specialists in a specific focus area or modality). Each therapist/coach profile contains a short bio with information about their approach and areas of expertise to help you find a good fit.
You can book a session quickly and easily, either making a direct booking in the therapist/coach’s calendar, or contacting them via the platform to request a session. Sessions are not immediate but can take place within days.
All sessions are delivered over video, via Unmind’s online platform.
In the first session, the therapist/coach will ask questions to get a sense of what you are looking for, and determine whether they are best placed to support you. If it is decided that the approach is not best suited, you can book in with another therapist/coach.
You and your chosen therapist/coach can decide together how often the sessions should take place. Often this is weekly or fortnightly. The number of sessions you have available to you will depend on your employer's contract with Unmind.
All therapists are required to undertake a risk assessment at the start of therapy and monitor risk throughout the course of therapy. If an employee is at risk of harm to themselves or others, or from others, risk management/safeguarding processes will be followed which may include referral to emergency or specialist services.
All sessions are confidential, within legal and ethical limits. For more information please see the following article: What information can my employer see?
Unmind Talk is available in over 25 languages across all of the major time zones.
