What services can I book?
Depending on what your organisation provides, you may be able to book:
Practical Support services to help with everyday challenges:
- Financial guidance
- Legal advice
- Career coaching
- Family and relationships support
- Health and wellbeing support
Counselling services for short-term therapeutic support.
Coaching services including wellness coaching and life coaching.
Please note: If your organisation provides Unmind's Therapy & Coaching service, you'll see those options at the top of your Book page. Practical Support services from our partner will appear below.
How do I book a session?
Step 1: Choose your service
Go to the Book section in Unmind and browse the available services. Select the one that best matches what you need help with.
Step 2: Enter your details
You'll be asked to provide your email address and phone number so the practitioner can contact you.
Step 3: Find a time that works
Filter by:
- Language - choose the language you're most comfortable speaking
- Timezone - select your timezone to see available times
- Expertise - narrow down by specific areas (where available)
You can also choose whether you'd prefer a phone call or video appointment. Video appointments take place in your browser - no app download needed.
Then pick a date and time that suits your schedule.
Step 4: Choose your practitioner
You'll see available practitioners for your chosen time slot, including their photo, name and bio. Select the practitioner you'd like to work with.
Step 5: Confirm your booking
Review your appointment details and confirm. You'll receive a confirmation email straight away, plus reminder emails 48 hours and 1 hour before your session.
What happens in my first appointment?
For Counselling and Practical Support: Your first appointment is an intake call. During this call, a trained professional will listen to your situation, offer initial support, and work with you to create an appropriate plan. This might include follow-up therapy sessions, consultations, or other resources.
For Coaching services: Your first appointment is your actual first coaching session, where you'll begin working with your coach right away.
How do I manage my appointments?
You can view all your upcoming appointments in the Book section of Unmind. If you need to cancel an appointment, you can do so through:
- The cancellation link in your confirmation email
- Your appointment history in the platform
If you also use Unmind's Therapy & Coaching service, all your appointments will appear together in one place.
